Driven to be Around People and Solve Problems: Asha Inamdar in Accounting

Practice Areas

Asha Inamdar is a CPA and Team Lead at Chugh CPAs, LLP.

Asha Inamdar is a people person. She is also a born problem solver. Asha loves being a CPA because it lets her understand clients’ businesses closely, help them grow, manage their taxes, and keep their financials compliant with regulations.

A Helping Profession

The accounting profession is a natural fit for Asha. She really likes the fact that accounting is an essential part of any business and the economy in general – whether the economy is doing well or badly. Being a CPA, she gets to know her clients’ passion to succeed and grow from a close perspective, and she gets to help them in the best way possible.

Says Asha about her job, “CPAs do not just help with your taxes, they can help with managing your wealth and net worth. They help turn your business goals into reality. The best part is when businesses flourish, and the economy flourishes. CPAs are a proud part of helping build this economy.”

“People come to doctors when they are sick. But people come to CPAs both when their business is doing well and not so well, in fact even when they want to start a new one!” says Asha with a smile. That’s the best part of this profession to her.

Inspiration to Get Involved

Asha become a CPA because of her father. He is an Indian Chartered Accountant, and her role model. Seeing him getting such high respect from people made her aspire to become a CPA. She noticed from her father that accounting provides the scope to get diverse experience with clients of various sizes, from different industries and regions, which is unique and a thrilling field to be in.
