Prem Sagar Baluguri is an Audit and Advisory Associate in the Herndon, Virginia office of Chugh CPA LLP. He is a Chartered Accountant and CPA candidate with more than six years of experience in audit, financial reporting, technical accounting, and advisory services across SaaS, manufacturing, professional services, and public accounting environments.
Prem specializes in financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, technical accounting, revenue recognition, internal controls, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS. He has experience supporting organizations through audit readiness initiatives, SOX compliance, business valuations, month-end close processes, and cross-border advisory matters.
Prior to joining Chugh CPA LLP, Prem held positions in both public accounting and industry, where he performed statutory and internal audits, evaluated internal controls, supported financial reporting processes, and assisted clients with accounting and compliance matters. He has also worked extensively with ERP systems and financial analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency and business decision-making.
Prem earned a Master of Science in Finance from Lewis University and is currently pursuing U.S. CPA licensure.
